The Kimmels had a baby boy, William John Kimmel, on April 21, 2017. However, things didn't start well for Billy. It's Kimmel's fourth child, two from a previous marriage, and one from his wife now.

It all has a good ending. Per chance and booked months prior, Dr. Oz was on the show (he's a heart surgeon and talked about his love of medicine and technology), as well as athlete snowboarder Shaun White (who was born with the same condition).

He also talks about insurance, and children needing coverage.

Very moving story. Glad the kid's okay.

He sure does look like Jimmy.

Kimmel took last week off, but came back today. He "apologized" for saying all children should have the same health care. He said, "I'm sorry for saying all children should have the same health care. It was insensitive of me." The irony is purposeful.
