Companies start implanting microchips into workers' bodies : http://www.latimes.com/bu...story.html April 3 2017 The syringe slides in between the thumb and index finger. Then, with a click, a microchip is injected in the employee's hand. Another “cyborg” is created. What could pass for a dystopian vision of the workplace is almost routine at the Swedish start-up hub Epicenter. The company offers to implant its workers and start-up members with microchips the size of grains of rice that function as swipe cards: to open doors, operate printers or buy smoothies with a wave of the hand. “The biggest benefit, I think, is convenience,” said Patrick Mesterton, co-founder and chief executive of Epicenter. As a demonstration, he unlocks a door merely by waving near it. “It basically replaces a lot of things you have, other communication devices, whether it be credit cards or keys.” The technology itself is not new: Such chips are used as virtual collar plates for pets, and companies use them to track deliveries. But never before has the technology been used to tag employees on a broad scale. Epicenter and a handful of other companies are the first to make chip implants broadly available. And as with most new technologies, it raises security and privacy issues. Although the chips are biologically safe, the data they generate can show how often employees come to work or what they buy. Unlike company swipe cards or smartphones, which can generate the same data, people cannot easily separate themselves from the chips. read more: : http://www.latimes.com/bu...story.html i've been reading about and hearing about microchiping humans for years. i am aware that they have been used in certain u s areas for implants for dog licensing. however microchiping people seems a bit intrusive into a person's personal life. for it? NOT

In this day and age, I expect it, it's just a matter of when.

The beginnings of the human cloud.

I guess it helps if I'm a little more precise about what I mean. By 2030, it’s possible that humans will have evolved to a new type of thinking — “hybrid thinking” — which would fuse our brains with technology.Ray Kurzweil, the director of engineering at Google, is known for his audacious predictions for the future, many of which have proven to be accurate. Since the mid-80s, he’s predicted technological breakthroughs that were seen as ludicrous sci-fi fantasies at the time — wirelessly accessing information via the Internet, prosthetic legs for paraplegics, self-driving cars, the list goes on. Now, Kurzweil predicts that by the year 2030, humans will be immersed in an entirely new type of cognition — hybrid thinking. Essentially, hybrid thinking fuses the human brain and technology, providing the brain with instantaneous access to the cloud. (For those wondering what exactly “the cloud” is, it’s an interconnected network of thousands of computers and services that run on the internet, like Dropbox, Netflix, and Google Drive.)

at this point i'd say this is some scary shiete. i mean what are the chances that the central system might get hacked? then there you go, you're on your way to work and you start cyber freaking out, then go catatonic, then one becomes a cyber-zombie. i mean no one ever thought the banking systems could ever get hacked, or etc with other systems. or worse yet some sort of cyber virus sets in. “Transracial is a term that has long since been defined as the adoption of a child that is of a different race than the adoptive parents,” : https://thinkprogress.org...fb6e18544a

I get it from the christian point of view.

I don't' think it's the mark of the beast, as a lot of Christians would think. (Many things have to happen before the mark of the beast is actually implemented, according to Revelations). Not discussing religion - just putting it out there as someone who was raised in it. " don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r."

I think they could start with released inmates, sex offenders and a few others

I do not know if this is akin to the mark of the beast, but in the 70s my (okay I can admit he was a bit of a loon) pastor was telling us that someday we would have them chips (like an ATM card) and they would be required to have a job or buy food or travel. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

I think they could very well win lawsuits for requiring them. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Considering what people are already willing to bend over and take from their corporate masters and even defend in the almighty name of capitalism, meh. Keep worshiping at these corporate altars. Murica: at least it's not Sudan.

I'm just saying if it happens, I think that is where it will start.
Maybe with high level criminal(murderers and rapists -sex offenders)
or in place with people like Kim Jong-Un in charge

they already have ID cards and maybe even bracelets with chips in them for getting in or out. So the progression is underway. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Well obviously it is happen, the workers for the company volunteered. Sweden...
Swedish company Epicenter implants microchips into employees SOME workers have been implanted with microchips that allow the companies that employ them to track their every move. Swedish company Epicenter will embed a chip into about 150 workers, so bosses can monitor toilet breaks and how long they work. The workers volunteered to have the microchip, which is about as big as a grain of rice, implanted for free.
