The Steelers sign a couple of retreads: CB Coty Sensenbaugh RB Kniles Davis Team must not have any interest in resigning DeAngelo Williams. This tells me they will be adding a back in the draft possibly in the middle rounds. Don't laugh at my funk

Who??? They signed DL Tyson Alualu yesterday formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars whom they selected with the 10th pick of the 2010 draft. Good signing to provide insurance and depth along the D-line. Love this signing. Yeah Sensenbaugh and Davis aren't anything to get excited about but at least Kniles can help in return game. Don't laugh at my funk

Yeah the secondary in particular is a work in progress. One improvement would be addition by subtraction. I just don't see anything good about S Mike Mitchell he is slow as a turtle in coverage and always look to hit first. Steeler fans are still waiting to see a return on 2nd round pick CB Senquez Golson from 2 years ago who has yet to play in a preseason game. He had a knee injury that ended his season as a rookie and last year during camp he had a lisc franc injury that ended his season. He looked pretty solid as a corner at Ole Miss. Steelers desperately need a pass rushing LB out of this draft. The d- line is set. slow as a turtle Don't laugh at my funk

Steelers hosting Joshua Dobbs, Patrick Mahomes on visitThe Pittsburgh Steelers' search for Ben Roethlisberger's heir apparent includes a closer look at two prospects in the 2017 NFL Draft on Monday.
Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs and Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes are among the players visiting the club, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Mahomes is firmly in the Round 1 conversation, while NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks has said Dobbs could be this year's Dak Prescott as a potential middle-round QB who could exceed expectations in the NFL. It won't be the first time the club has taken a close look at the two players. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin attended Tennessee's pro day last week and his offensive coordinator, Todd Haley, was present for Texas Tech's pro day, as NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt pointed out. Roethlisberger has yet to definitively say he'll be back in 2017, although Steelers team president Art Rooney II expects him to return. However, the team has made it clear it's preparing for life after Big Ben, and Monday's visits are part of that process.
I have no problem with the Steelers looking towards the future, L. Jones is not it. I do believe Ben will play a few more seasons with the Steelers then retire. | |

I say no to Joshua Dobbs. He struggled badly down the stretch for Tennessee and looked awful doing so. He could be this year's Dak Prescott. Yeah right. Don't laugh at my funk
