Yes, I saw that a while ago, it was very interesting. Shatner really hit it off with Stewart.

I understood from others that Avery and William did not click at all hence you got what you got. Interestingly Scott didn't seem to enjoy his Captain experience, Kate missed a lot of her home life.

Well never saw the original series when it first came out. Never got to see ALL the original series episodes until the early 90's. The very first episode I remember seeing in the late 70's was galileo 7.

I do not remember that creature at all.

Ops is for "Operations". It's usually means bridge crew duty. Harry Kim was Ops as well. Come on pick your ultimate crew.
