In this order...
Gunsmoke I Love Lucy The Honeymooners 60 Minutes Soul Train American Playhouse 90 Mary Tyler Moore Show Ed Sullivan Show Jack Parr Show ( Without this man, there would be no Carson, Letterman, or anyone else on late night) The Carol Burnett Show The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson The David Letterman Show ( the NBC Years) Hill Street Blues Batman Wise Guys The X-Files A Year In A Life ( canceled after 1 season... beautifully written an acted show) The Rockford Files Nightline POV The Fugitive Rocky and His Friends The Bozo Show ER Zoom Electric Light Company ( way better than Sesame Street) Firing Line Captain Kangaroo Kukla, Fran and Ollie
The Ladies Number 1 Detective Agency
I can't say enough about kids programming during the 1950 to mid 70's...respectable, intelligent and substantive shows.
Yeah I don't have any current TV shows because I just don't watch TV series anymore. The Ladies Number 1 Detective Agency is the last TV series, I penciled in every Sunday to watch. I can't sit through commercials and the amount of stuff on TV... I can't follow a show from beginning to end. I basically watch movies.
P.S. I forgot one.... "I'll Fly Away"

That show was some twisted, sick shit, but I loved it.
Ken Wahl burned and sadly crashed after doing the Wise Guys. He had a drinking and pill problems and he suffered as spine injury after crashing his motorcycle. I recall watching an interview and the guy looked liked beat up. | |

. Finally, a halfway decent list. Those current shows bore me too and one of the reasons I was enjoying those presidential conventions was the coverage of them was taking that boring mess off the TV for two weeks. But back in the day, I used to get pissed as hell if the president held a speech or if any news broke into the programming because it used to be so good. . Some of my favorites are/were: . All In The Family The Jeffersons Good Times Sandord and Son One Day At A Time Maude Alice WKRP In Cincinatti Carter Country Three's Company The Ropers The Carol Burnett Show Mama's Family Different Strokes The Facts Of Life Gimme A Break Boomer The Cosby Show Family Ties The Golden Girls Angie Makin' It Webster The Hogan Family Madame's Place The Benny Hill Show Soul Train American Bandstand Solid Gold Dance Fever Friday Night Videos Night Tracks Wonder Woman The Bionic Woman The Six Million Dollar Man Charlie's Angels Hart To Hart Police Woman Miami Vice Hunter Kojak Cagney and Lacey Family Eight Is Enough Dallas Knot's Landing Dynasty Happy Days Laverne and Shirley The Dukes of Hazzard The Incredible Hulk 227 Amen Bewitched Gilligan's Island The Brady Bunch The Brady Brides The Andy Griffith Show The Flip Wilson Show Sonny and Cher Cher Donny and Marie Marie Too Close For Comfort CHIPS Saturday Night Live Fridays Scooby Doo The Flintstones Bugs Bunny/Loony Toons The Pink Panther Fat Albert Wonderbug/Electra Woman and Dyna Girl/Isis Bozo Will and Grace Married With Children Everybody Loves Raymond The Nanny . I know I'm forgetting some. . . .

That's a nice list Andy. I forgot about Will and Grace, Mama's Family, Laverne and Shirley, and The Flip Wilson Show those TV sitcoms / comedies would have me cry laughing.
We had some super duper package my crazy man selected when we had cable.... 15,000 channels and couldn't find a damn thing to watch. What's wrong with that picture? Besides I couldn't remember what shows came on those 15, 000 channels. funkpill use to help a sista out, telling me what was on what channel. Comcast took off Gunsmoke and HBO canceled Woman Number 1 Defective Agency .Finally I said. fuck-it cut the cord.
