Why not?

It is not like she is admitting to a murder.

Read Lena Dunham's book, Not That Kind Of Girl; A Young Woman Tells You What She's "Learned"

It is okay for women to talk about sex.

The more women that talk about sex the less sexually repressed our society will be in the long run.

And it is not like the government will be able to use this information to extort her with.

The whole world knows.

I think she just got disgusted with selfish, entitled partners and thought that since nobody else was calling them on their shit that the job fell to her.

I don't think any less of her for admitting that she has given blow jobs when she didn't want to, or wanted cunnilingus and didn't get it.

.

I come from a long line of outspoken women. My Mother had 2 kick down doors. I have no problem at all with women talking about sex etc. BUT you'd have 2 pay me loong money 2 put my business out there, I ain't just talking sexual. Millennial's love 2 broadcast, 4 free, fine, that's their choice. I have always placed a lot of worth on my anonymity & autonomy. My original point would of been the same if it was a male btw.

.

I can respect the value of privacy and I would never have done what she did.

It was both brave and stupid, especially putting her picture up, because she has made herself a target for anonymous weirdos.

But the same is true about anyone who puts themselves in the spotlight.

She just needs to weigh in her mind whether or not the point that she is making worth the risk that she is taking.

Hopefully she won't suffer any negative consequences.

There is something very exhibitionistic about all of it.

I'm okay with exhibitionism.

If I weren't I wouldn't be a Prince fan biggrin

It's just a cry for attention by a huge portion of this "look at me" generation. You can blame it on reality TV, social media, or parents raising their kids to have massive egos. Whatever the cause, putting your personal shit out there for the world to see has become the norm.

Yep. Social engineering. Voyeurism. Attention is currency. Materialism. Isolation etc etc. Their the guinea pigs, social experiment in action. Dry snitching on their selves.
