D Wade to the Bulls!

Local media cut into regular programming to report, citing ESPN and Yahoo News. Wow! Did NOT see that coming....thoughts?

......and Rondo too....damn.....

Word is the Heat taking care of Whiteside first, and then their pursuit of Durant ticked Wase off. Who really knows?

If the case then that's understandable. He's dedicated 13 seasons to them along with championships, etc., however, when all of that goes unappreciated then you got to move on.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Well don't speak too soon. I could be wrong, but all of this could be a potential ruse for D-Wade to eventually get to the Cavs sooner than we think. Sounds unlikely, but then again so did KD going to GSW and look at where we are now. lol Lots of people are going to be buying some new jerseys next season, that's for sure.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Wade to the Bulls is a great move for both parties IMO. I'm wondering how he, Rondo and Butler will co exist though but its certainly a silver lining for them after losing Rose to the Knicks.

This type of small-ball lineup could work given that -- if Rondo's head is on right -- they can complement each other's strengths. This experiment will be about as fascinating as the Knicks to watch next season.

Ok, I can definitely get behind this one. I'm still a little worried about the Rondo move. I just hope things work out for the better. We need some size now.

They are having kittens in Miami but the guy gave the Heat his best years and helped bring three championships to the team plus the concessions he's made in the past.

I wish him well and I will be watching to see what develops with the Bulls....should be very interesting.

Pointless signing by an organization going in circles.

The Bulls are road kill on the side of the NBA highway.

They exist ONLY to make money.

They stayed with Rose too long, and paid the price.

Its certainly an interesting scenario. Rondo was one of the most coveted point guards at one point and was a huge asset to the Pierce, KG and Ray Allen Celtics team. If Chicago get that Rondo it would be a great pickup. I have some questions whether they can all do exist. Rajon said something about their being 3 alphas on one team but that it was Butler's team. It's one of those its so crazy it could work type situations same as the Knicks like you mention. If both fire on all cylinders the Cavs have competition in the East.

Same with the Knicks - they're one of the NBA's richest franchises, yet they've been a joke for 15 years, and haven't won a title since 1973.

I think the Bulls put in a real effort to win a championship w/ Thibs, but got burned by Rose and his injuries. And, well, everybody's injuries. Fuck, that team got hurt a lot. What gets me is that Paxson and Forman are still employed while one of the best coaches in the league was run out of town instead of being offered a lifetime contract. Eh, here's to hoping D Wade has a year or two left in him.

On the fence about Rondo. I know he's an assist guy and he's coming off a great year in that regard, but I just can't believe how abysmal the dude is from the free throw line. Not everybody can hit it at 90%, but 58%?! C'mon, man, a lil compromise is in order.

And as you know, Rondo can be, "mercurial" with teamates and coaches - in other words, a pain in the fucking ass. It'll be interesting to see how he, Wade and Butler play together.

Yea, I'm at least excited to see what happens. I'm resigned to winning nothing until James decides we can anyway...payback for having Jordan in the 90s I guess smile.

You're right . . . Rondo is the X-Factor for any team he's on. For good or ill. He's a brilliant player when he's on. Maybe his time with the Kings gave him a little perspective.
