What's your minimum height requirement for guys? Short and sweet, what is the minimum height a guy has to be for you to consider getting with him short term or long term. i'm a shorty so i don't have a minimum height requirement. if forced to answer, i'd have to say six inches tall. much smaller than that, and i'd be needing my bifocals to see the dude, and I'd hate to accidentally sit on him or something

I have never considered height when considering guys, but most of the dudes I've ever been with were fairly tall compared to me. But then I'm short. Tl;dr- I don't have a minimum height requirement. Murica: at least it's not Sudan.

I'm 5' 10" so preferably my height minimum. "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

I don't really have a height requirement when it comes to guys, since I am short as well. Erin Smith

if age is just a number, how can height mean more than that?

I'm 6' tall. My first real boyfriend (and definitely my first real relationship) was 5'2 or 5'3. I was about 220#, and he was 130#. Needless to say, the two of us were the most oddly matched dudes around. haha But, even after it ended, I always held a special place in my heart for a shorty. 6 feet or just shy there of I always thought I was like 5'8 but turns out I'm just short of 5'7. I was always in 3-4 inch heels though. I'm not comfortable being with a guy that is shorter than me.

I'm 5'9'' and I don't mind a guy an inch shorter than me but more than that is just too awkward. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

5 feet. I'm 5' 3". But I think couples that look like Sonny and Cher look hot. What?

I'm nearly 5' 4, so I need 5 ft. 8 in. ( to leave a little wiggle room for heels). Thankfully, my husband is 5'9" . .

I'm very short (5' feet and a half inch). My first serious boyfriend was 6'0" so we were like a walking sight gag walking down the street. My last serious boyfriend was 5'5" (my fam insists he was two inches shorter LMAO). On an online search form a guy can't be shorter than my dad (5'4"). I don't think that's much to ask since if you're genetically shorter we're possibly getting into human growth hormone territory if kids are possibility. (My mother and all of my biological aunts top out at 5' and nobody was missing meals when they were growing...so).

1) Tall men are bigger and stronger, therefore women feel more safe and secure with them 5) Tall men are assumed to be more masculine, dominant and assertive
I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of responses here that contradict the notion most women prefer tall men. [Edited 8/7/16 10:30am] "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. That's too much of a gap for me. 6' to my 5' 3" (plus heels) is cool I'd say. What?

5'9" | |

I never said it was wrong... it just makes things... interesting.
I think a lot of tall women who'd otherwise relax or bend their height requirements don't because just as much as they want to feel "feminine" men want to feel masculine (bigger taller, etc). If you've been told all your life in so many different ways you've got to be small, light and dainty being the bigger person in the relationship feels like you failed at femininity at a body level, somehow? Plus you've constantly got to reassure the guy that they're big and strong, etc.

I'm a shorty too at 5'1 so it's usually pretty easy for guys to be taller than me. However if I could choose, 6'-6'1. Just as long as they're taller than me From now on, 4 U I shall be wild 💜

He looks like he's walking with one of his kids their difference is too drastic, I never get that about super tall guys & super short chicks - it's weird to me...

I'm on the taller side for a female, and honestly a man's height doesn't mean much to me. I guess I'd draw the line at a guy who was below 5'6", but his height is just not a big deal compared to other traits. If you will, so will I

I'm 5'5" and my hubby is 5'7". This is fine with me. In fact, I was very happy to give up the high heels. I think many women look ridiculous walking in them when they're over 3" anyway. Unless of course you're Giselle Bunchen
