Emmy's Sci-Fi awards

With all the Sci-Fi theme shows on TV now does anybody else think the Emmy's should address that? I would like to see awards for best Sci-Fi series/Actor-Actress/Supporting Actor-Actress). I'm not sure but I do believe some Sci-Fi theme shows have been nominated in the past under the Drama catergory but always lose.

You know if Patrick Stewart was on Law and Order he would have won some Emmy's, but for being on Star Trek a big fat NO!

I think they won some Peabody Awards, but my point is that the Emmy's should start recognizing Sci-Fi impact on TV.
