It's March Madness time, baby!!!!

First couple days of the Final 64 are the greatest two sports days of the year.I'm going to ride with my Dawgs of CT as they are very reminiscent of the 2011 championship team, their miraculous 4-OT win against Cincy on Friday is exactly the kind of thing that helps propel a team deep into the tournament.

UConn over Kansas, you heard it here first!!

I feel this year the field is wide open, there's no dominant team. It wouldn't suprise me if UConn pulled it off again

I was all set to write in Villanova at the top and then......

With no dominant teams, I am REALLY looking forward to the Thursday-Friday games this week. There could finally be that magic upset!

Also, the Final Four is here in Houston. If you've never been to a Final Four, it's incredibly easy to get tickets. For the championship game, anyway. All the fans of the teams that lose on Saturday want to dump their tickets for the Monday final. This is the one championship in all of sports where you can buy tickets on the street for face value, or even less.

Maybe we should have an Org meet-up/Prince party at the Final Four!

Yeah it's like that with the conference championships too. I had cheap tickets lined up for yesterday, but at the last minute decided against going. I'm regretting it now.

Gotta go with my UNC boys. If they get knocked out who ever is left in the ACC.

I have UNC in the championship game, so I'll be rooting for them. I think they're the best of the #1 seeds.

My brackets have been really hammered, Baylor killed me (I saw all the upset predictions, but didn't believe them) and so did Seton Hall.

Michigan State loss was great - half of my rivals had them winning it all. lol

WOW, talk about some upsets! Texas getting beat on a half-court bank-shot treeh-pointer was bonkers! And I can't beleive they didn't count the dunk for Cincinnati. The ball was going down before the red light came on - isn't that the same as the ball going up on a jump shot? Guess not!

Stephen F. Austin absolutely manhandled West Virginia. That wasn't even close. I don't know how far the Lumberjacks can go in the tourney, but they were clearly better than West Viginia.

This has been a great tournament so far. I think the first weekend of the the NCAA tournament might be the best weekend in sports.

Nova actually did it, UNC made a big mistake letting Ryan bring the ball up.

PHENOMENAL game! The shot by Page to tie it was just bonkers. And the game winner? Please, please, PLEASE let that supplant the NC State/University of Houston ending as the one they show all the time! pray

Fantastic tournament, one of the best in recent memory.

Now, on to college baseball!

While I despise the folks who run the NCAA (only Congress is more corrupt), it was a great championship game.

Eventually they'll have to give the cats doing the actual work a slice of the pie. And before anyone says "free college education", that's not enough. I'm talking millions here. If someone's using my name and likeness to sell their school, I want my cut - it's the American way.

WFAN's Mike Francesca had a great idea - provide a fund for the football & basketball players that they can withdraw from once they graduate.

Excellent article;
