My top 10 worse SciFi characters

Here are mine

1.

Jar Jar binks, do I really need to explain

2.https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/34/7e/25/347e250a397cbfa661e8f33337292e5b.jpg

Chris Tucker as Ruby Rhod in the Fifth Element, oh god so annoying

3.

Wesly Crusher from Star Trek, do I need to explain.

4.

Dan from Charmed. Came into season 2, such a cheesy character

5.

Prince Dex from Mask Rider. Ok yeah I know power ranger tv shows weren't known for great acting but this kid really sucked big time

6.

The Blue Beetle from Smallville. OK it was just one episode in the series but this kid couldn't act and was so boring to watch. I'm not sure if Smallville planed on making a spin off of this or not but that guy ruined it for sure.

7.

Boxy from Battlestar Galactica. Sorry kids in SciFi shows just get in the way

8.

Fake Star Buck from the new Battlestar Galactica. Sorry but Star Buck should be a guy.

9.

Ok last Battlestar Galactica character. I think her name was Cally. Any way just a boring character and they should have killed off a lot sooner than they did.

10.

OK first of all I love Richard Pryor but putting him in Superman 3 was just a mistake.

I loved Ruby, even though it was completely and utterly ridiculous, it won me somehow.

Why doesn't anybody like Wesley, he was a kid, I mean come on.

Ok, there must have been something wrong because I don't even remember the Charmed guy.

eek eek eek Who doesn't love female Starbuck? Egads!

Everybody else I either don't remember or I didn't see the show.

I can't think of anyone I just couldn't stand. I'm sure there was someone but it's probably blocked.

Here are mine;

Young Anakin Skywalker. Seriously, I wanted to punch this kid in the face.

Sting as Feyd-Rautha in DUNE.
He was supposed to be a ruthless killer but instead came across as a vainglorious twat.

Nicola Peltz in Transformers: Age of Extinction

They replaced the hot-but-badass Megan Fox with this Hot-but-useless Barbie doll who ran around whining and crying, asking daddy to save her the whole f'cking movie. I really wanted her to die.

The entire cast of the FIRST X-Men movie in 2000.
The film clearly broke ground and paved the way to more (& better) X-Men movies, however, in the first flim the whole team came across as a bunch of wannabes. Useless.
In the comics, the X-Men were a highly-trained group of badasses who could go toe-to-toe with the best of them. In this film, they were constantly being whipped by amateurs. To THINK that Phoenix (Jean Grey) could come close to being killed by such a minor character like Toad is a disgrace to the Phoenix character. (Yes I realize that she hadn't yet channeled her inner self, but STILL). Plus, one of the most bad-ass characters in the franchise - STORM - was given two or three lines in the whole f'cking movie! It took another 2 movies before Storm was allowed to show off her powers. A big F-U to the Storm character if you ask me.

nod

And it goes without saying that Jar-Jar Binks is on the list. disbelief

But Dr. Smith was so irritating that one would keep tuning in hoping that he would get his final comeuppance... And how come the family was so dumb that they kept falling for his schemes over and over again?! razz lol

Yep. She gave a great performance but they made her character too weak. It was frustrating.

That was a great show though. I was pissed when they cancelled it. sad

V10LETBLUES

Good list so far. I would add these two from Disney's The Black Hole.

The production design of the movie was pretty solid, exept for these two wtf designs. I like the characters in principle just fine, just how they were realized on the screen.

I mean this character design is amazing! what happened with the other two designs?

There was something very human about Robbie the Robot--namely his all too human fallibility. lol
