White Christmas? Anywhere?

Here in Holland we're having the warmest Christmas ever with temperatures well above 10 degrees (Celsius), in other words the kind of weather you'd expect in April. I'm just wondering what it's like in the rest of the world...

I'm in northern New Mexico (Angel Fire, to be exact). We have TONS of snow and are getting more today and tomorrow. We had a VERY white Christmas. Can't wait to hit the slopes this morning - even if it is -12 Farenheit right now!

We had a tornado here in Michigan on Wedesday. mad First ever in December since they started recording weather for Michigan. It was so warm that night, I slept all night with the A/C on! eek Christmas day was warm also, around 50 degrees. We are finally starting drop back down to somewhere near normal this weekend. Hopefully, it will stick around for a while. Christmas felt more like Easter this year. sad I love winter and I hate when I get cheated out of it.

i live in susanville, california, and we've been getting snow a lot lately, as well as the sierra mountains that surround us. it's been very beautiful here lately. and the wonderful part is all of our local ski resorts are doing great, which is great, because they have suffered during the several years of drought. so glad that we have an abover average snow pack already! biggrin

its been very warm this christmas in the uk,unfortunately its been very wet too, which has resulted in

the north of england being flooded, large parts of lancashire and yorkshire are now under water.i

understand that parts of south america are flooded too.

Here in northern Illinois it was just above freezing on Christmas Day, but it was nearly 60 degrees Fahrenheit (yes, this is antiquated to all you Orgers outside of the USA) just two days earlier. But now we are getting an ice storm. omfg

this has been the most uncomfortable Christmas. I'm constantly running my air conditioning in December!! AND it's been raining nonstop! I would kill for snow....

In Seoul, Korea. Almost. But the rain on the 24th ruined everything. It was one grey, damp christmas...

I miss ice skating in the winter.

I haven't worn my winter coat yet. Most days I'm not even wearing a coat. In December!!
