WALR-Atlanta’s KISS 104.1 has decided to pre-empt TOM JOYNER’s morning show for the holidays, substituting a new temporary show featuring midday host SASHA THE DIVA and afternoon hosts ART TERRELL and ROY WOOD, JR. JOYNER is expected to return early next year. This is the first time JOYNER’s syndicated morning show has not been heard on KISS for two decades. Elsewhere, JOYNER is using a fill-in host over the next two weeks. Cox Media VP Radio Programming, Tony Kidd said KISS was merely trying something new for the holiday season.

Interesting...sounds like perhaps there's more going on behind the scenes than what meets the eye.
