There is also a petition to get Don Lemon fired from CNN biggrin

"Were it at?" I want to sign THAT ONE.! deal

lol lol lol

I'm kidding. Mr. Lemon is a fucking joke. A large number of Chicago news people move to primetime postitions at the major TV Networks, most have succeed. Don. Lemon is one of the most incompetent journalist I've ever seen. Lemon can't think on his feet and sooner or later the man says something dumb; Chicago NBC (WMAQ) kicked his ass to the curb.

I'd don't watch news much anymore, I read the paper. lol

=====================================

I don't like him, either biggrin It seems like, nowadays, people are bending over backwards to say the most outrageous things and offend the most people. It's insane!

I'll sign a petition to fire them all. Dam, take the view off the air already.

I still stand by my words in saying that The View should've had its series finale on the same day that Barbara Walters went full-time retirement from ABC News. nod

I agree with both of you.

Freedom of Speech...

If people don't like her or the show don't watch it.
Be careful, this kind of behaviour will go beyond celebs, but your FB pages and speech in general will be attacked.

Better yet, don't watch television all the time. Read a good book. wink

Best post in the whole thread....quoted for emphasis. cool

There are several other shows that branched off from The View. No one talks about those shows. I've watched The Talk on several ocassions. I've heard some of those ladies make comments that some people would probably find very offensive (I'm always waiting for Sheryl Underwood to offend someone). But, those ladies' comments hardly ever make the news because they don't have the same kind of relevancy as The View. People are always talking about The View. Whether it's something that Raven, Whoopi or Joy said, they get people talking. Despite what it's critics have said, this show still remains very relevant and obviously, there are still a lot of people who care about what those women have to say. I'm not sure why people care, but they do! biggrin

Some folks need to get over themselves and take a chill pill. It's called having a different point of view: Ms. Symone' expressed her thoughts, some folks took excetion. So? confused That woman should not be fired. If folks are that pissed stop watching 'The View", problem solved. lol

You would think a show titled The View based on a panel discussion would take folks into that very direction.... Guess not lol .

Sheryl Underwood is guilty for being an occasional manny, no argument there. And naturally, Sharon Osbourne is a hard ass. But despite those flaws, The Talk is still a better show because those 5 women get along almost like family. They don't come across as looking for heat, drop a pipe bomb, or ride the coon train like The View has been doing for the last couple of years.

well one could say Raven has :gumption" and "moxie." hopefully in the future she will be better at directing it more to her advantage. all she needs to add to her upcoming statements is more intelligent forethought to "her truth" imo.

Agreed about "The Talk" but when these middle age women start talking about Justin Beiber seems creepy to me

I knew it would backfire since Raven could only be the voice of a Hollywood child living in a total bubble.
