I asked my doctor about this. She said to take it with a grain of salt. Now I have to start salting my bacon.

I had the most DELICIOUS BLT today! OMG! My grandmother lived to the ripe old age of 88. She ate bacon regularly. Never had any form of cancer. We all have to die of somthing. Why waste time worrying about whether the grim reaper is creeping around in our food?

I want to eat a Nathan's so bad but I gave them up a long time ago. Hell I'm willing to take my

chances with soda before hot dogs and I've given them up too. I don't eat cold cuts anymore unless

they are nitrate free. Now I just have to work on bacon. Bacon tastes too good to give up. Maybe

twice a month now.

Don't laugh at my funk

That's what my wife said but if I could slow the process for a long time I'll listen to the

health experts. lol

Eat in moderation?

It's just pathetic that anything we eat can or may be a cancer risk. disbelief

Next thing you know we won't have much food choices left. Some folks DNA makes them prone to certain cancers, it does not mean you will get them.

You can eat what you want, does not mean you will get cancer.

We didn't know that already? Especially with all the fake synthetic crap thats in it. These days I hardly eat processed meat. It doesn't even taste like meat. Getting the generations taste buds adapted to printer food.

It never fails. Breaking News, this process stuff will kill you.

The next day.

Look what new wonderful thing we want you to try.

Reese Peanut Butter Cup, cheeseburger with onion rings (and who knows what else is on that thing)

That's what I was about to say, everything we eat and drink is a cancer risk. Drinking water from the faucet is bad but drinking bottled spring water is a cancer risk. Using lotion is a cancer risk. Using deordorant is a cancer risk. Brushing my teeth is a cancer risk. Walking is a cancer risk. Skipping is a cancer risk. Jumping rope is a cancer risk.

I'm like whatever to all this mischief. We all are going to die somehow someway anyway so best enjoy life the best way you can while you are here.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

we've know since the 1980s that red meat/processed meat is bad for us. imo, this is one of those obvious, duh items.

Is it made with soy? Cuz that shit'll give you cancer, too.

Better known as mystery meat. lol

nod

Its when you go abroad, you realize how bad US food is. I chuckle now when I see plastic billboard on all the fast food chains, claiming they now use 100% beef and natural foods. WTF, were you selling prior? Processed food is no good. As Luv4u mentioned... if your going to eat that stuff, do it in moderation.

Today, I'm going to wiz by one of my favorite hog joints in Chicago... they do peel and cut their fries on the spot. lol

I tried to eat vegetarian for one week. That was my goal. To go one week without eating meat. It lasted 8 hours. All I can say is that vegetarians must have some massive amounts of will power! I couldn't do it.

Humans have the teeth of a carnivore. Humans have the stomach of a herbivore which means we can eat meat and veggies.

C'mon our ancestors like the neandrathal's prolly ate meat and veggies. They were hunters.

It has to be really hard for someone who loves to eat meat; to pass up on their favorites. But if you don't like it much anyway - piece of cake. smile
