These championship series matchups have been very one-sided. It looks like it will be a Mets/Royals World Series.

Which means the Dodgers win the pennant next year because that's the kind of luck Don Mattingly has.

Buck Showalter too.

What a World Series--The Royals last won in 1985 and the Mets last won in 1986.

The Mets really should try to re-sign Cespedes, but I don't blame them for passing on Murphy. I doubt he's turned into Jose Bautista and will be a home run hitter for the rest of his career. This current hot streak is just a fluke. Especially when the Mets have a younger, cheaper option at second base coming up in the minors.

What a game! It had just about everything.

Daniel Murphy is a beast but the Royals are a more complete team, IMHO.

In sharp contrast to last night, tonight's game was totally lopsided. Surprisingly, the Mets' Jacob deGrom could not strike anyone out. And Johnny Cueto, who I've seen be very uneven since being traded to the Royals was completely dominant. If anything, I would have predicted the final score to be flip-flopped.

The last two of games of this World Series have been the most heart-wrenching games I've ever had to witness...I'm still in shock. Yeah the Mets have a reputation for...being the Mets, but this was something else sad
