It would be more seasons in the future or this would be the last?

during the premiere last night, in station-break fashion, the producers offered us viewers a chance to enter the WD sweepstakes. we listen for the 'code' words announced during station breaks (there were two code words last night: 'take' and 'chances'). once you know both code words, you go to the website, register your name and personal data, then submit the code words. winners receive a two-day trip to stay overnight on the set of walking dead, get to hang with the cast members, and meet folks behind the scenes, etc. each episode offers a chance to enter this sweepstakes.

Oh, okay. Nope didn't participate in the sweepstake. Why are they doing that anyway? The ratings are dropping but the viewer ship is so far up there they'd need a serious tsunami of a viewer loss to have any fears of being on the chopping block.

Comments were made. I started mine on reply #77.

What did you think?

Some people didn't like the b&w addition. I thought it worked great. I actually paid attention more.

Gabriel's blowing the horn. I just feel him screwing things up. Of course we know the Wolves are coming with truck loads of walkers.

There's a theory that girl Carl likes is a spy for the wolves.

Some say he should have set the walkers on fire.

Wouldn't that have drawn more herds?

I like that black&white scenes seperating from what happened prior and the colored current events.

.

Gabriel is a mess. Is there anyone else in town that would do that? The boy/son of the man Rick excecuted? Or maybe there is trouble in town, the Wolves maybe. I thought Morgan for a bit, because he seems to be having issues

.

Ah, I noticed we really didn't see her in this episode.

I need to watch it 2-3 more times. First time, my dad would not stop talking.

I hadn't considered the boy, he would be pissed with these "new people" one killed his dad, another stealing his girl, they're just taking over his home. His mom, I think did the right, smart thing given the circumstances.

Doubt Morgan, he's not stupid. It's either outsiders, or someone totally naive and stupid.

.

remember the rabbit's foot windshield scene in season five when morgan leaves two men/wolves unconscious inside a locked car, then blows the horn (presumably) to summon walkers? i wonder if the horn at the end of the premiere is them, returning the favor?

.

alternatively, it's pete's son because rick killed his dad.

.

possibly, gabriel is blowing the horn because his inner collapse has left him quite unpredictable.

.

is it possible that the 'wolves' have been deliberately storing the walkers in that quarry for purposes of eventually attacking alexandria? i think we will see the return of those men/people who were exiled from alexandria by deanna, back before rick and company arrived.

Yeah I forgot about that horn from the Wolves and that blow horn.

I don't think we have enough build with the Wolves yet. But it depends on how they play it out.

I think Deanna is snapped, so she will be ready to kill.

I'm thinking the Wolves or Pete's son.

It is predictable that it would be Gabriel, but Sasha and Maggie prayed for him lol he seems like he is changed but will have to prove himself.

maybe the horn is just an unlucky coincidence and not the first evidence that zombies are becoming smarter, able to open car doors and blow horns..... eek smile

She has lost so much weight and looks so good. She kills me with that note taking, she very into that show. I think she'd like to be in an episode or two.

She should give her an appearance, like a seer or something here and gone like a vision or ghost

I just read somewhere what was supposed to be happening with the horn but I have no validation if its the truth.

********Spoiler********

The wolves crash the gates of the settlement with the big rigs, and the horn is the alarm set off to call everyone on the outside to come back to protect it.

You have to highlight the middle to see what I wrote.

No he did not. But it tells people where to look for the scene of the missing protein bar.
