Question: Are birds in general mammals, amphibians, or reptiles?

...or just certain species of birds. Discuss. Post pics, if you like.

from Wiki:

Scientific consensus is that birds are an advanced subgroup of theropod dinosaurs.

But that would mean evolution and we can't have that around here so please stick to either mammals, amphibians or reptiles. Actually let's chuck in vegetable as another option.

They are dinner.

Best prepared battered & deep fried or oven-roasted.

Their unborn spawn are great scrambled or fried sunny-side up.

I'm dying to know why this question was asked, but it looks like the OP has vanished.

Then let's ask similar questions being as this one has been solved.

Are cars in general dwellings, national parks or deep pan pizzas?

The OP just left an never came back, guess they had other things to do. So I'm going to take it as an open thread.

I've come across some very pretty pix of birds but never wanted to start a thread to just post those. Here's my chance.

If birds evolved from dinosuars, then how come there are still dinosuars?!

Oh, no. That argument only "works" for monkeys!
