Does anyone remember Orgers who published e-books...

...and developed novelist careers from that? I remember a couple of Org members who worte an e-book and then interest followed... Anyone remember or developed a literary following from novels on this site? Just curious...

i think ORGer Fiona has done that. as for developing a following, you'd have to ask her. her stuff seemed pretty cool. have you heard about amazon.com's free e-book website and associated fee-based services??

Free is nice...but $ are good, too. lol Just wondering if any orger went from one to the other...

lol i meant free as in 'you can create the book online' without paying a fee. it's called 'create a space' i think. you can upload and sell your book if you do everything (formatting, cover art, etc.) yourself, no charge. kind of neat.

I remember (not from the org or an orger though) about a couple who made a living off of writing e-novels and publishing it on Amazon. Pretty cool if you know how to write stories.
