Won't create a new thread since Disney may remove this video but a teaser for Rogue One premiered an hour ago at Celebration.

I'm still not convinced. JJ has a thing for making convoluted, completely nonsensical stories that don't add up. Into Darkness was just a series of plot points that didn't serve any purpose to the story. Super 8 was so clumsy in the way it paralleled a deadly alien creature to a boy finally accepting his mother's death. He knows how to put movies together, but doesn't know how to tell stories. The trailer just looks like a fan service film. Basically what we are getting is x wings, tie fighters, star destroyers, R2D2 and his knockoff, Han and Chewie. Pretty much everything we got in the originals. At least in the prequels, Lucas tried to give us completely new worlds, characters and technologies. This is quite true and weighs heavily on my mind. JJ Abrams has slowly been losing people over. Of course Star Wars nostalgia has the power to make people forget that none of his Star Trek movies were original world building obsessive repeat viewing experiences. You're totally correct, he knows style but not story. His stories have no strength so far. But... I was a huge fan of the first two seasons of Lost. Especially the first season. But after his last three movies that were scifi, he is starting to seem like a variation of Michael Bay mentality to me. So just imagine if this same trailer said directed by Michael Bay. It would be exciting, stylish, etc... But.... My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

I've been good with Abrams from the jump. And this trailer is absolutely killer. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

i do not think it is Leia but Rey... the being handing it to her was seen in some of the early leaked concept art... "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

That is definitely Leia in the trailer....rumor has it she's a Queen in Ep VII, and the outfit she's wearing is right in line with Padme's getups from the prequels. Make it so, Number One...
