Fatter, my skin is more sensitive, hair's getting grey, stiff back, can't wear high heels like I used to... but I am happy. 43 and I am not sad about getting older... I need to start taking better care of myself though.

No, not scared, just hoping I can look after myself for many years to come and don't end up in some crappy nursing home. Hoping I can enjoy many years of retirement too.

Black don't crack! Black skin is oiler than white skin, therefor, less wrinkles.
I get bummed out when I have 3 drinks and I'm deathly ill the next day. Also I'm 38 with no children, and can't decide if I should have one. So...I guess I wish I was about 5 years younger. But whatever...I live a good life.

Turning 45 later this year. Annoyed that my metabolism isn't what it used to be. Annoyed that my bones ache every now & then. Annoyed that my hair is thinning more & more every f*cking year. Annoyed that I have an almost insignificant amoung of $$$ saved for retirement yet.
Nor am I dreading dying (or that my life is half over). By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

My biggest fear is not of age but of ageism. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Uh, hate to "crack" the illusion, but some older Black folks look as wrinkled and dried up as White folks. It really depends on genetics and how you take care of yourself. In saying that though--there are more "white" skinned people that look worse when they are old, then folks who have built in sun protection... Black people don't traditional hang out in the sun and even when they do they have a natural defense against UV rays built in, it's not fool proof though because I've on a couple of occasions have experienced the joys of sunburn, sunscreen has become my friend. But wrinkles aren't the only issue with aging, sagging happens to everybody, think turkey neck, gobble gobble, cause hon' even if the booty don't lie, the neck screams the truth.

I'm 38 and I've been facinbg quite a number of unexpected health issues for the last 8 years so yeah, I'm pretty afraid it's not gonna be a joy ride to get old. Thing is no one told me u actually start getting old at 30, I expected the shit to start happening after 45 or 50 We should tell the truth to children A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
