Jason Latimer I went to see his show here, Perception: Seeing Beyond the Illusion, I had no idea who he was but I thought it would be fun to go see an illusionist show. While we waited they give you the rundown on the screen who he is. He's won this that or other competition, he's on this, that or other TV show, blah blah blah. Hey there are a lot of illusionist, as oppose to magicians these days, he needs a big build up. Then I heard, he has degrees and fields of study in Mathematics, Economics, and Applied Physics with research in multiple fields of Psychology of perception and attention. I figured hey this could be really interesting. It was. I sat close but still a few rows back just in case people get pulled on stage, still close enough to see details. I can say without all the dry ice, flashy light, I was completely blown away. I think I really bought into his whole, this is not a trick he's trying to inspire questions, and impossible is merely an opinion thing. Anyway see him if you can. One of the illusions he performed. | |
