Vines: Comedy Renaissance Or Theater For The Attention Span of Short?

It looks like everyone is a comedian these days, just look at Vines.

Vines are 6 second videos from the creators of Twitter and it looks like comedy has taken root in this snappy format. But is it a giant step dowm from Chris Rock and Eddie Murphy, or a legit gateway to comedic stardom?

Or is it the iTunes hit of its time?

A generational thing?

You decide.
