XBMC now known as Kodi

How to video of XBMC aka Kodi.

I've mentioned this before but folks aren't listening.

This use to be apart of the XBOX deal - it may still be- to get gamers to watch more movies / TV for over a decade. You can download XBMC/Kodi to your computer, a Raspberry Pi via your TV, or to many Andriod devices... such as they OUYA.

We've gotten rid of cable exept for one TV in our house... and I'm about to cut the cord on it. Its free but I urge everyone to contribute something to the XBMC / Kodi project... cuz without money nobody would be see anything without these guys and gals. org for help or other questions if you need to. Peace.

P.S. You should be able to use UPnP to upload your home movies to view over XBMC/Kodi.

Can you hook up a keyboard to that jynxbox? I'd like to have xbmc on my tv.

I think you can as there are 3 USB ports on it so I assume you can use a wired/wireless keyboard...Its all menu driven anyway as you don't have to do much typing as you just add whatever TV show you watch to your favourites and the episode loads into it instantly when a new episode is aired.It has the complete boxset of every single tv show..I hadn't watched Game of Thrones and it had the complete 4 seasons in HD.If you click search a window pops up with the keyboard and you just move cursor with remote control.It has Youtube so I use it there mostly as all old movies and shows are in folders.All the latest movies are on it (see my comments in movie threads)I love mine anyway.

They have HD TV Antenna's for 40 bucks at costco and costco.com. You can get all the major tv channels in HD (nbc/abc,cbs,fox) for free. No cable needed. You just need to live in or near a city. The broadcasts aren't strong enough to reach small towns (generally.).

You can watch cable on the internet for free.
