Wow, funny that you posted this--didn't see anything else on cable and so I ended up looking at this intending to for a minute--and became totally absorbed into wanting to find out about this lady. It is worth watching--a well-made documentary with an absorbing story about someone you never would hear about otherwise. I wish more of these would air instead of crappy "reality" tv junk.

good to hear... i haven't been able to track it down here in australia yet, but i think it's a fascinating story... love the photos going by what i saw in the promo vid

I remember when this was in cinemas here last year. It received many great reviews, but I never got around to seeing it. And now it has gotten an Oscar nomination for best documentary feature so I have to track it down as well.
