I get the topic of discussion, but I would just like to comment that I find that it can also work the other way around. Sometimes, people can cut you from their life. Not always because you're a jerk but because they're showing you who they are.

yep

I've been dismissed several times, mostly by fuck friends, guess they got tired of me falloff

but I'll never forget one person that dismissed me because I was always "late" for dates, like 5-10 min...ok shrug that one hurt because of the silliness of the reason...
