I thought the same for Darth Maul's Light saber I actually thought Maul's was awesome. Grevious' multiple Sabres was naff though. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

I agree that there are still enough ingredients that make it interesting and worth watching, IF you can convince yourself to simply ignore the flaws. so yeah, I still watch it too. but honestly, personally I'd even give the prequel trilogy the slight edge over ROTJ, especially Part III
[Edited 11/26/14 7:06am] That chart works for me. I was was born pretty much on or just after the Ewok line. 1974. I was 8 or 9 when Jedi came out and didn't love the ewoks but didn't have a problem with them. Thought they were ok. So, they don't bother me know. Does that mean that in years to come there'll be a bunch of 40 year old Star Wars fans that love Jar Jar? That's a confusing and creepy thought. Yeah but still dangerous. For every Jedi to master it, 5 Jedis most likely lost a body part.

Okay: John Boyega the man in the storm tropper armor... He must be a force user! and I bet a good guy!
Daisy Ridley the girl on the speeder...is she a bad guy?
with Andy Serkis the alleged voice over person?
The Falcon and X-Wings all look good but are the CGI or models?
the troopers look nice but had a non-star wars look.
I am not so sure about the new droid... I assume the ball is two hemispheres with a gap to which the head is attached. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

it needs more Jar Jar:
My uncle is a top executive at Lucasfilm and he told me that it turns out Gugans are an early form of Hutts, and their spores that are midichlorians. So in effect the Gungans are the force. And in the movie in a flashback Jar Jar is put into carbonite shortly following EpIII and let in VII. Making his wakening the cause of the title. It is Jar Jar in the mask.... seems he was pulling all the strings all along. (why else would the trade federation block a planet that is all but useless to them) "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Ok ok I was kidding... it is my aunt.
But no really: An idea I had in the 90s was that Darth had an apprentice that he put into carbonite for a long time...and when it was freed it was crazy and super powerful. Having all that time to meditate on her (in my idea it was a girl) hate for the last name she heard: Luke Skywalker (Pallpy forced DV to put her in following his failed attempt to capture Luke.) And it is explained that for anyone else that was still alive they would come out and die as it is (as Han said "A big wide awake nothing")
