Big Bang Theory is now 19 minutes long

Well I was watching the Big Bang Theory on line and notice this season every episode is getting shorter and shorter for season 8 (Season 1 were 23 minutes long). Season 8 Episode 1 is 21.19 min Episode 2 is 19.59 minutes long Episode 3 19.32 minutes long and Episode 4 19 minutes long (including intro and credits). Nothing like a big pay raise to have more commercials added.

RodeoSchro	Not a good trend! But since I watch it on my DVR, it's not affecting me. Except to the extent I will have to re-train my fast-forwarding skills, LOL.

G3000	The attention span these days are about 2mins max (a getting shorter)..so this is still way too long!!

This show is still on?? Season EIGHT.. that sounds about right. I liked it at one point.

Its the number 1 show in the country and commercials are more important than the show to begin with. Thats Capitalism.

Now if only Gotham was this short it might be watchable. wink

wildgoldenhone y	Such a shame but I'll continue to enjoy it anyway, if it doesn't affect the quality of the storyline.

Empress	It's a good show and I've always enjoyed watching it, but I've noticed this too. I hope it ends as it should next spring.

Everyone on this show looks like they are acting. I prefer acting that seems genuine. But 19 mins is ridiculous! I thought most shows were 23 minutes or so and 48 mins for hour-long shows?

In the 80's/90's were 48 minutes long. Now hour long shows usually run from 42-44 minutes long (some times even less).

advertising is why i haven't watched "TV" for four years. i can't stand commercials. i don't think they do me any favors when it comes to my attention span, either. lol
