I own all of Apple's product except the phone. What is so special about their phones?

She'd kill me for saying this, but she's had Samsung big screen envy for a mintue. Its the geek and gadget folks who love this type of stuff. Its Apple's tradition at this point... this is what their fanboys and fangirls do.

Nope not keen on iphone. I'm leaning more toward android.

I won't stand in line. I'll make an appointment at the Genius Bar and go to the store at the appointed time to trade in my 5S for a 6. Easy peasy.

Apple seems 2 have a bunch of people in a trance.

There's always going to be a loyalty to the company that puts out the new designs first. A "windows" based OS in 1984, ipod, iphone, ipad, imac and even on the creative software end, Final Cut Pro... all these managed to be released before the comptetitors or Big Brother got their products out, thus they maintain an image of being pioneers or new quality products.

I get that. I have Ipads, Ipods, Mac pros and macbook pros.

I just never wanted the phone.

I'm eligible for an upgrade through my carrier next Saturday. Apple will give me a trade-in on my 5S that more than covers the price of a new 64G iPhone 6. I use a Mac at work, a Mac at home and I have an iPad. Getting something other than an iPhone would be stupid. Especially since I absolutely hated the one Android phone I've ever had.

Wow - really? I didn't think there were any carriers that still don't have it - unless you're on a smaller local carrier or something.

I use Boost and I never see the iphone on display.

I really only use my phone for calls and texts so upgrading wouldn't do me much good.

I'm a Machead,( own three of them plus an iPad) that being said, IPhones are just too limiting for my taste and are way behind android as far as what is featured on their phones. Most of what is on the iPhone 6, I've had on my android, since my first one. I'm my opinion, the android system, is just a better operating system.
