I cannot express anything to make your loss any less painful, but I will say THIS: She did not die alone. You stated: "Why do we deserve to leave this world scared and completely alone?"
That's not what you described. You described her passing while surrounded by loving family. Hold on to that. Remember that. She passed with those who care for her all around.

Peace to you and your family.

Sorry about your father, Shyra, and thank you PurpleJedi, and all of you. I do not know if she was hallucinating or not, to answers one orgers question, right before the stroke she did keep talking about "the girl with black hair who came in in the middle of the night and gave me a bath" --- that was me that did that but it was not the middle of the night but three in the afternoon. Also she didn't name me so it makes me think she didn't know who I was and obviously had no sense of time. I surely hope she was not aware of any pain or aware of the fact that she was disoriented. The thing that has really thrown me with all of this was not the fact that she passed, obviously at her age we expected it and more, she WANTED to go and be with her parents/ siblings/ husband ---- it's just the fight that came out of her at the end that I did not expect and the fact that we have to die so uncomfortably sometimes. I guess I will stop talking about it and just accept it but it has certainly been a humbling experience. -------
