i had some health issues & strife with teenagers at beg of the year, nothing serious, all sorted now & ticking along ok

can't believe it's already august, feel like i haven't stopped

saw prince in london at shepherd's bush, that was a great night out,

saw the grand prix in barcelona, spent a week in the city

voted for ukip lol

just got back from cote d'azur. met up with an orger & did the purple tour in nice & the surrounds. it was too cool & such a laugh!

i've got loads of plans for rest of year, whether i'll get to do them all is another matter..

solid plans include are a few parties, driving a lamborghini! excited

got trips to cyprus in oct sun & brugge for xmas beer i got tickets to see culture club purse & alison moyet around xmas time

in between i have a pass for the national trust for which i must get my money's worth grandpa

i should consider a job change as well.

You need to make sure your home doesn't become lonely for you and your wife because it's so difficult when your kids aren't there - especially when you've mostly been focusing on them for so many years Injuries mean u r over doing it so maybe the goals u set r perhaps too extreme - remember u r no longer a spring chicken! My health has been shit this year but I am still moving forward in my life and making the most of what I have I am over working and I feel drained - hopefully next year I won't need to work this hard I haven't done everything I've hoped to do and past the half way mark means next year looks promising

  • I've seen 13 concerts this year, so I've been enjoying my live music experiences.

  • The end of the school year (Jan - June) was okay. My job is pretty challenging, so it was what it was supposed to be. Now I"m doing Summer School- only 7 days left.

  • A new relationship started to blossom, and although it's been positive, it hasn't been what I thought it was going to be.

  • Oh, and since March, I've lost over 30lbs. woot!

Wishing you all the best with that relationship, hopefully things will go into the right direction! And congrats on the weight loss biggrin !

There were a few highlights, but in general it has been one of the most painful periods of my life and I can't wait for this year to be over. Then again the next one might not get any better....
