Yeah that part sucks. I think I look youngish for my age mostly but when I'm tired I look really OLD. And there was this horrible magnifying mirror in a hotel bathroom in Berlin a few weeks ago and I have all this white hair!!!!!!

Recently it's hard for me to say how old I feel. Some people think I am 20 years older than others think I am . The way I dress is probably younger than I am, the way I feel in a way too, but on the other hand I feel very old: looking back on my life and not really having any dreams or wishes or goals left

This is exactly how I feel.

I feel especially old when I see one of my friends from high school announce they've become a grandparent (and that's been happening more often lately).

I'm 46, btw.

I'm 46 too...nobody of my age I know is a grand-parent yet though

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I am doing good right now and I am counting my blessings.


But sometimes I do find it hard to accept or remember that I'm 43 & counting.
