"Melanie Griffith has reportedly filed for divorce from Antonio Banderas after 18 years of marriage. The 56-year-old actress cited irreconcilable differences, TMZ reported of documents allegedly filed by celebrity high-powered divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Griffith has asked for child support and for sole physical and joint legal custody of the couple's only daughter, Stella, who is just a few months shy of turning 18, the gossip site added. The "Working Girl" star has also requested spousal support from her 53-year-old actor husband. Sources told TMZ the decision to part ways was "amicable." "

I'm surprise she filed before he did. Melanie has always seemed very insecure and doesn't seem to handle ageing very well. She has had way too much plastic surgery. Makes her look worse than if she had none. | |

She is out of her damn mind! Excuse me, but it's not exactly Antonio's fault that Melanie cannot find work. Yes, ageism does exist in the entertainment industry. But if older women like Angela Bassett, Jamie Lee Curtis, AND Sigourney Weaver can get roles from time to time, so can Melanie. Don't forget this lady...

I worked with Melanie a long time ago. Very sweet lady.  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |
