Week 13 How's it going?

I don't get it!

I'm not losing weight. I'm gaining weight!

Eventhough I went to sportsclass, did 1.5 hour of excercises and went running 3 times this week.

But, despite the lack of results on the scale, I did gain other results. I'm proud of myself for getting started with the sports.

And I loved running outside. I took different routes and have discovered new areas in this neighbourhood. Running in the park, expereincing the spring, lifted my mood a lot. And I felt much more energized than ever.

So, I'm still very content with myself.

I also learned my traps. If I can't fall asleep, I will start eating. And eventhough I don't have any snacks in my house, I guess, munching almonds, dried cranberries, olives and vigbread is healthier than french fries, but it's still snacking.

And Zombeekitten is right about the sugar making you more hungry. Had not eaten any chocolate, but thursday night, I had a few ricecrackers with a thick layer of chocolate spread. And the next day, I had a big appetite.

So, I will not get any chocolate in my house and the only sugar I'm eating is the sugar in the fruit.

And the peanutbutter and jam....... confused

Hopefully, that will prevent any craving and big appetite.

This coming week I will continue with the running and I will attend sport classes twice a week. If not making me slimmer, it makes me more energized and happier.

67.3 week 10

65.8 week 11

66.7 week 12

67.2 week 13

So, how are you guys doing? Any changes yet?

I'm trying to avoid fluid retention which annoys me no end! Grrrr

I'm at the end of my second week of eating a particular way to stop swelling up.
I've kept away 2.5 kg of fluid for the whole time woot!

The other interesting thing is everyone around me were sick with horrible colds but I got nothing! I'm eating kale and other vegies and fruit highest in vitamin C as well as no allergens or sugar. I feel really great in mood and energy too.

I just had some gluten free soy sauce but it's made with soy beans and I swell up from beans - hope it won't affect me. sad

I found the secret to rapid weight loss. It's perimenopause. Too bad I can't share. Instead of sweating at the gym, I only have to lay on the couch and wait for dark and the sweat just starts rolling with no effort required on my part. I may be a sweaty, hormonal, hairy (WTF) mess, but my butt looks fabulous. Someone should bottle that up. It's like magic. Really unpleasant magic with that one benefit.

This was absolutely unhelpful, I know. But yay for weight loss, I guess.

Don't sweat it.

Don't know if it's the same for you, but I found out that I sweat heavily at night when I ate products my body doesn't handle.

For me, that's dairy products, gluten, nightshade veggies and a lot of E-numbers.

If I avoid those, I don't sweat it. And don't have gas or feel exhausted during the day.

It took a while for I found out what kind of food it was, but now that I now, I feel more in control and energized.

It always feels great to be out of debt.

I wished I was there confused

Save up for the 700, and fix it. Otherwise your initial investment in the car gets wasted because car is rotting.

come to think of it, I haven't had any nightsweats for a couple of months now hmmm

and I haven't touched any of the things on your list apart from high fat dairy like butter and double cream and soft cheeses (which I don't have any trouble with thanks to practically no lactose at all.

I am hoping to be down 20 lbs by Easter.
It will definitely be a lifestyle change, but I will occasionally have something sweet.
I just won't consume desserts and candy like I did before.

I don't want to deny myself for the rest of my life.

I've got to the point now where I think a couple of ripe figs with double cream is the BOMB!

I don't miss candy or chocolate any more. The longer you go the easier it is and it doesn't feel like denial at all smile
