Tracking Macros For Builiding Muscle

But first, what does "to macro" mean? "To macro" means tracking the number of grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fats you consume on a particular day. Bodybuilders and physique competitors have mastered this art and have no qualms about whipping out their food scale at any given moment.

I was curious other orgers opinions on this? i have actually been doing this for awhile now.

IMO it's hard to track your macros efficiently because the body's demands are always changing which include TDEE and BMR. People should strive to aim for calories IMO. Because let's be honest, if you're eating 4k cals a day. Do you honestly think that you will have issues with your macros? Of course you can argue that someone eating "dirty" won't get results, BUT CMON!
This is a motherfucking fitness community! People should understand basic nutition!

That's just me though... i think counting macros as best you can. Along with a little portion control is best. Cause, i don't eat healthy everyday. I Do take my protein everyday (Musclefarm & Serious Mass) serious mass can be seen as a meal too. Cause 2 scoops of it is almost 1500 calories. I eat a lot of chicken, steak, salads, fruits, peppers, veggies etc. But, i will eat burgers, pizza, tacos, nachos, Korean BBQ etc. If they're given or i just crave them lol

So far i'm in the best shape of my life. And getting stronger every weeek! so i wanted to see other peoplesopinions of tracking macros, if you have done it, if you don't like it etc.

I just try to get 200g of protein per day and generally eat as many veggies as possible and as few things out of a packet as possible. That's just fine.

but i do say i do admire the dedication and the discipline body builders take in order to perfecting their bodies. I am bit jealous, because food tends to be my enemy at times....
