Etsy Question

I'm thinking of trying to sell my artwork on Etsy.

Anyone tried that?

Any advice? Hints?

Any help would be appreciated. biggrin

I sold on Etsy for about a year & a half when they were first getting started. If you're looking just to sell your artwork & not for peace of mind, Etsy is a great place to sell. nod I'm not knocking it. They have an established patron base which is really nice if you don't want to have to be doing tons of promotion for your artwork. Lots of people shop there so you'll naturally get sales just from being there.

I left because I couldn't take the Gestapo style management & some of the things that went down. It really turned me off. They've angered a lot of sellers who have left. However, there are many who are still very loyal. So, it all depends on your style & preference. If SALES are all you're worried about, then go for it. If it's SALES & PEACE OF MIND, then you may want to consider other alternatives. There are plenty of good places to sell handmade these days.

I still have an account at Etsy (as a buyer) & do purchase on occasion. However, I no longer sell there.

I wish you well. biggrin
