So, A Friend Of Mines Husband... Killed Someone.

I know this is a weird topic to talk about. A friend of mine got married very young... like when she was 17. She said she was 18 and got married to this dude, and i for one ever liked him.

He was always doing drugs, getting angry and jealous for no reason, and acting a fool. Eventually they got in a bad custody battle and he beat her many times...

Now, he as been arrested for first degree murder. And, also for assaulting a family member (Her)

There not sure if it was self-defense or not... but idk. But this story gives me chills! knowing someone i was once good friends with, had a husband capable of doing this. He already got into fights, got nasty when he was drunk, and beaten the shit out of my friend.

I realize ''love is blind'' and we all try our best with our lover no matter how crazy. But, how blind can you be when you get your ass beat multiple times? how blind can you be when your friends get beaten up by your husband for just trying to talk to him? and now this...

It's just sad, cause a lot of people from my town are turning out this way. Young, violent, drugged up, and fucked up.

Sorry to hear that. I've been through the murder of a friend by her husband, too. It's not easy to deal with.

Oh man confused my female friend was not murdered luckily. But sadly another guy was...

Just makes me wonder, what it takes to leave someone. Even when they abuse you, others, or your kids. Every situtation is different... but i don't see when abuse comes into play. Why a woman would want to stay.

This was a little different, I guess. The guy was a loser and he lost his job, and wouldn't get another one. But his wife came from a wealthy family, so they weren't in any real poverty situation. However, after he lost his job all he'd do was stay home and watch porn.

After church one day in 1999, he snapped. He grabbed some scissors and just about beheaded his wife - in front of their two kids.

He got arrested, and was out on bail. He tried to flee the country, but incredibly was recognized by an American Airlines counter employee - even though he was wearing a fake mustache. He also had $10K in cash on him, so he was definitely trying to get out of the country.

The POS blamed it on his wife's drinking, saying it was caused by her affiliation with the Junior League. That was BS - Mary was no boozer and the Dallas Junior League is ANYTHING but a club full of lushes. Mary was the epitome of the dedicated Dallas housewife.

He got 60 years.

His daughter goes to the same college as my son, and my wife and daughter hooked up with her for lunch a couple weeks ago. She's doing great.

This is sick, both stories.

There are a lot of crazy people out there. nod

There are peeps out there who are like that without drugs or alcohol (extreme jealously, anger, rage, fights, abusive to their wife (& others), etc.). It's a very scary place to be. They may not go so far as to murder someone but the potential is always there with people like that. They're out of control.

Sorry to hear. sad

Self-esteem is the real problem with both the enabler and the bully. The bully only gets it by bullying the enabler (But it never satisfy themselves but gives them a quit fix.).

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Sorry 2 hear about that situation. Tragic stuff.

In a intimate situation. When u have intense feelings of jealously mixed with a persons machismo, anger, bullying, relationship insecurities, etc, that stuff is particularly destructive and deadly.

One of my relatives is with someone who's the jealous, angry, macho type. She's been with the guy for 20 plus hell filled years. That whole time shes been breaking up and getting back together with the guy. The messed up thing is he killed a guy back in the 90's.

They ruled it justifiable homicide and that may or may not be true. The unofficial story is he confronted this guy for talking 2 his wife(my relative). They both had guns and the other guy was shot and killed.

There's evidence 2 suggest that the conversations between my relative and the guy who was killed was mutual. If u know what i mean ?

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
