When I feel like my skin is not dry, I simply skip the moisturiser and let my skin work on its own for a day. Somehow I get the feeling that, if I overuse any product, my skin will somehow "forget" how to work on its own and protect itself and therefore will turn extremely dry immediately if I do not use said product. This effect is very visible with using chopstick - your lips get used to it and will need it all the time. I keep a chopstick in my car and, when it's cold, use it about once or twice on two days maximum. It suffices completely. When I feel like wanting extra soft lips, I put a bit of honey on them for an evening at home.

You mentioned you did already drink lots of water - and many people say so, but still don't drink enough! I drink two to three litres a day and it really does make a difference. Sure, I get the loo often, but it is good for your body (as long as you drink proper mineral water, preferably still).

Another simple trick, I found, is to get lots of sleep. I don't sleep much lately, and my skin reacts immediately. When I force myself to sleep 10 hours a night (once in two weeks, probably), the positive effect it has on my skin is visible for three days.

Do you think sex makes a difference?

In the way sex has an influence on our hormonal balance, yes, probably.

Maybe we should fuck. Trust me, it will make your skin better. Just like Stymie said. shrug

I don't think you can handle this ride.

Since I love to try many products, I stick to the most organic ingredients that don't dry or breakout my skin.I found the following offer lots of benefits; Kiehl's face care, Redflower body care, Neutrogena and Aveeno are all excellent products. Oh and my desert island must have....Keri lotion and Vaseline!
ThankUPrince!

I'm not going to get into cleansers because that all depends on your skins specific needs, personally I make my own cleanser using vitamin C liquid diluted in a foam pump with Ionic silver water -- that works for me with my combination skin, ( I have no acne problems).

*

Now for a toner I swear by Thayer's Witch Hazel, you can use the astrigent or the grain alcohol free astrigent they both work well for me. They have a wide variety of scents!!!

*

http://www.thayers.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3&zenid=s283p0q7ouqatrbn3jqhednvp2 Is their website but cheaper prices of the products found here!!

*

I put it in a spray bottle and spritz it on my face, (even around my eyes), after cleansing and let it air dry. I promise there is no tight feeling after cleansing no matter what you use for cleansing even hard core acne products!! Then I add my moisturizer. It leaves my skin baby soft and I can see & feel a difference when I don't use it.

Drug store witch hazel products are NOT the same as this stuff...

*

Hope this helps
