I'm sure these were taken before Sinead O'Connor's now everywhere letter to Miley was written, but dang.... like... I'm kind of at a loss for words. I don't dislike Terry Richardson, but I do think a lot of his work/art is kind of trashy. So I guess, depending on your opinion of Miley, that's absolutely perfect or a continuating disappointment. Personally, I'm like, whatever. I find these pics far more artistic and entertaining than her VMA "performance".

Agreed. They look more like test shots - just taking some random snaps around his studio. I don't doubt that the reason they were posted to his blog right now is because of the Sinead O'Connor letter. I agree as well. I like Terri, have actually met him a few times socially.

The blog pics (in all their reveal), ironically leave a lot to be desired.

Oh well, every up & coming megastar goes through these kinds of growing pains it seems.

You know the routine: they drink, they smoke, perhaps indulge in those other substances, then suddenly they come to the realization that they have genatalia and (in mistakenly thinking that their genetalia is God's gift to mankind) instantly want to flash and sling it anywhere a camera lense can be found.

Interestingly enough, in their new awakening, they don't realize that all the things they've come to embrace as being rebellious, free, the new version of themselves is actually a bag of trite cliches that have been done time over and time again. It will be interesting to see what she thinks of these when she looks back at herself at age 45.

In the meantime, the million dollar question will be to see if Cyrus comes out of this mess (of an era) intact...personally as well as in terms of life long career aspirations...

Not coincidentally, her new album is released next Tuesday. So we'll know soon enough if these shenanigans have drummed up any sales interest.

She's trying real hard to be the new Madonna. She just needs to make the "role" her own and she be set. As for now, it's just comes across false and lame. (Just like the MTV performance.)

What scares me even more than these old guys making a profit over her back, is that she does not see any harm in drugs.

Drugs habit has never turned out positive for anybody. And I think it's a shame that Miley thinks it's different for her. I hope somebody will teach her some stuf about drugs.
