Just saw '13 going on 30' for the first time. I remember when it first came out I wanted to see that movie. Such a girls movie.

I don't think I've seen that one. I enjoy girl movies.

It's kid friendly too. The lead actress was Jennifer Garner. I think that movie must have come out in the early 2000, around the time when her hit show 'Alias' was on tv. If you like girlie movies, you might like that one.

Funny, earlier I wanted to write in my journal because I haven't written in it in a long time but when I found it, I threw it to the side because I was lazy. For me I know that writing down my feelings helps me to get stuff off my mind and process stuff. But I'm just too lazy minded. My brain doesn't want to think or remember things. I wonder if anyone is ever like that, just too lazy to think?

* But your voice hasn't been taken from you unless you allow it to be. Have you chosen to forgive that person for trying to silence you? By forgive, I mean take the issue to God and then release that person (by name) for doing that to you? Choose to forgive (out loud) and release them. God wants you to be able to freely exress yourself using your voice. It would be wonderful and freeing for you to turn that over to the Lord and be free to use your voice to express yourself as you please. You don't have to remain captive. * I'm just the opposite. I like to verbalize what's in my heart. I prefer that over writing cuz writing takes too long.

No, I forgave the person. But not being trained to speak up and voice my opinion has been ingrained in me. Not only that, but I also had the tendency to withdraw into my shell and hide so that didn't help either. It's getting easier for me to learn when to speak up and when I don't really need to if it's not that big a deal. So I think I'm getting better at it.

I'm happy to hear that it's getting easier for you. Practice makes perfect and the more you step out and do it, the easier it'll get. You won't even have to think about it after awhile and it'll come naturally like breathing. You're right, hiding in a shell like a turtle isn't good.
