Keeping up the babble; and another thing.... So for those of you who are new.....
A Babble thread is simply a thread to make a comment not really fitting into any other thread and really not worthy of a thread all by itself.
You can comment on other peoples babble but you don't have to. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

So I wanna talk about myself for starters.
Miracle of miracles, I may just move into my own place come Oct 1st!!! I have been living in homeless shelters since the end of May but have been working part time to full time since the end of June. Working, running back to the shelter before curfew and making it there often enough to take a shower on most days.
I totally understand why so many people get stuck in the homeless cycle and for that I am glad....BUT... I AM SOOOOO READY TO MOVE ON AND OUT!!!! There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

Has anyone here at the Org ever used a vaginal dilator?

I hope everything works out for your move. I can't begin to imagine what you've had to go through these past months. And kudos to you for going through a tough experience, working hard, and coming out strong on the other end!
Good luck to you!! | |

I don't know if this is a serious question or not, but I'll give an honest response.
I have used a vaginal dilator which was prescribed to me by my gyn.

I started a LCHF diet on Monday. I was so sick of being sick from things with wheat in them and lactose. This simplifies it for me. I love butter and double cream and those have negligible lactose And I love steak and fish and greens. I started my "journey" to wellness 2 years ago and I feel I'm making a lot of progress in terms of mood and energy. For someone who was allergic to sport all my life, can you believe I'm now playing in a Futsal tournament!! A very welcome side effect was going down 4 jeans sizes I'm the mistake you wanna make

I cousin's exwife was seen out and about after no one seeing her in a while. She too had lost weight and her skin and eyes were much more vibrant. It ends up that she got rid of wheat and many other things in her diet. I will have to look up what LCHF STANDS FOR, LOL There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

Good luck to you!! IT WAS CRAZY!The whole set up (the system itself. The way that homeless shelters and aid, work.nuts and I honestly think if there is any "blame" it is the breakdown of communities and families. Each woman shows up at the shelter a broken individual. Some more broken then others and all in a place of need and with very little to give. The staff is basically surrounded by needy, needy people all day and night. They get overworked and frazzled. They go off eventually, and then that only sets them up for more problems. I tried editing the previous remark but the computer won't let me block it off correctly. My response begins with words "It was crazy". There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

The thing that I missed most was not things but privacy. To shower, sit at a table and think, go back into a shower on the same day, etc. It is a bit like elementary school or day camp. Everyone is herded around for safety reasons. I hated day camp and now I remember exactly why. I'm a get an upset tummy here soon. Grapes are so good, up there with watermelon on my list of natural foods that are fantastic all by themselves!Between running from work (where I can't get on the org) to the shelter 9 where I can't get on the org) I have had very few minutes to go to a "day shelter" where they have internet access and a huge waiting line to use the 7 computers for a half an hour at a time. So I have missed out on a few months of org threads. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

I have had a lot of gas lately. It would be funny except that I am constantly around people. I don't have a home so every bathroom is a public bathroom. There is no place to go to fart in peace. I have varried my diet, but still this problem persists. I need to find out what is causing it but I have no time right now. are you gluten sensitive? that was a component of a very distressing diagnostic process i had to go through to find out why my disgestive issues developed. try eliminating wheat for a while. that helped me a LOT [Edited 9/24/13 9:24am]

Does Christopher hang here @ the Org anymore? * I sent him an Orgnote a couple months ago and I didn't hear anything back. * I don't think he picked up his orgnote either (tho I'm not sure). I haven't seen him around here and the last time he posted was some time ago (according to his profile). * Did he skip town?
