Poor, Jaden. He was born into a filthy rich family and was immediately surrounded by yes-men growing up which has lead to this point in his life where he’s spewing all over Twitter about how school is a tool to brainwash the youth and suggesting that if everyone in the world dropped out of school, we’d have a much more intelligent society. I mean, all he needed were the best private tutors money can buy and he turned out just fine. Why can’t everyone else do the same?

I never learned about the Tuskegee experiment or MKUltra. I do think without school kids end up a lot stupider and more ignorant but the current education system still makes stupid people. Yeah but I don't know. Jaden's almost never got to experience public schooling so it just seems odd for someone like him to mention something that some folks already believed.

Jaden isn't much of an expert on any sort of normal life experience, especially public school.

He was born with opportunities he never had to earn.

There are problems with the education system, but this is not a fine critique.

And really, would you understand why people go to school if you had already starred in a Hollywood movie before you were 20 years old?

I actually miss the days when there were some pop stars that would promote staying in school, and lifestyle choices like safer sex. It is nice to say "oh that's not the entertainment industry's responsibility, it's the parents", but I have to say how UNCOOL there is no more balance in the message.
