You're starting off a brand new show, a comeback of sorts and the best you can get are has-beens and a few B list TV actors?

This will not win new audiences over and to survive and excel you need to attract new viewers as well as your old faithfuls.

But I wish him luck.

Most of today celebrities are B list actors and the rest are about 5 seconds away from being has-beens.

Preach. nod

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

So looking at his premiere week guests, who is his demographic? People stuck in the 90s?

It was the network's fury! I don't think it hurt the ratings at the time, but he still lost his show.

But it's not a brand new show. Hall already has an audience, he'll be fine.

So did Rosie O'Donnell and Ricki Lake.

Well Monday is the premeire on the WB channel 11PM in NYC. I'm guessing it's pre-taped.

All late night shows are pre-taped. They are usually taped about 5 hours ealier. Except of course for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

This should be interesting biggrin His show was very entertaining in the 90s.

I still think it was messed up how he got pulled for bringing Farrakhan on the show but nothing happened to Barbara Walters when she had him on her show...political double standards.

I checked my DirecTV-DVR guide & his show is only scheduled for a "New York City" channel and I'm in South Carolina...I checked the CW channel and he's not listed at all...I know the show is syndicated so I checked CBS,NBC & ABC for showings at 2am or 3am and he's not there....Maybe he doesn't debut in my market until a couple of weeks from now...Damn you Northerners!!!..LOL...

select your state then city. It doesn't air everywhere but most places it does. In Portland it's on CW at 11 pm, that's handy.

Better than having the Kardashians, Justin Bieber or some lame reality star.

Ya got that right. I don't wanna see no damn Ga Ga or any other current pop tarts either. I'm fine with the lineup as is.

Lady GaGa would be an interesting guest.

I would want to listen to young people and hear what they've got to say.

I don't feel that only people of my own generation are the ones who are right.

His monologue started off as okay then it just got dry and boring. My eyes lit up a little when I saw Snoop...a little. Paula Abdul's bit was cute. All in all, the show wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. Though it's not going to deter me from continuing to watch to see if it gets better. Why do I get the feeling that Chris Tucker's spot on the show was really supposed to have been Eddie Murphy's spot but he probably was unavailable. lol When Arsenio was doing the cabbage patch, it immediately reminded me of this:

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
