Back in the late 90s I used to drive THIS:

[img:$uid]http://imgim.com/autowp_ru_bmw_635csi_4.jpg[/img:$uid]

But to tell you the truth, I´ve never been a BMW fan...I actually can´t stand BMW and there are other reasons why I used to have that car above.

I also used to work for BMW part time and while I don´t like BMW I must admit that the quality is top notch...they really make some of the best cars in the world but I am more of a Mercedes fan. I´m not really into cars in the first place because the country where I live is too compact, streets and roads are too narrow, and gas is much more expensive than in the USA.

I don´t think I´d ever consider buying a Lexus unless it´s second hand and a bargain. Japanese cars are very reliable, especially Hondas and Toyotas (and the Lexus brand is actually a higher priced version of Toyota, isn´t it? ). Driving a Lexus is pretty much like driving a fancy Toyota.

One question....why do Americans fancy new, European cars (or US-suvs) when you could just as well buy a vintage US muscle car ? I mean, American cars from the 1970s are some of the most beautiful cars ever.....why not buy an American classic and invest a bit more money into refurbishing it instead of buying one of those boring modern cars? Sure, they use more gas but so do suvs, don´t they?

If I lived in America, I´d either buy a vintage American car, or , with the gas prices so low compared to ours, maybe an old Mercedes or Japanese car.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Here is the stable I used to own! I loved driving muscle cars. After I get the kids through college, I'm going to buy some more!

The red one looks over the top, but in a good way. lol I wouldn´t want to drive it but it looks really nice (I don´t like the big wing though).

My favorite car in your fleet is the blue one. Is that a 1960s Mustang?

The Corvette looks cool, too, but I saw too many of them when I was a kid so it´s not THAT special to me, but still nice.

The last one? Is that an Oldsmobile?

My dad used to drive a Buick in the early 70s...and then came the oil crisis. wink

I´d love to have a muscle car or something that resembles a muscle car lookswise (I´m more into the look, not really the power or speed) but with the gas prices going through the roof over here and with the country where I´m living being notorious for envious people, I don´t think I´ll ever own one in the near future. Plus, spare parts are hard to get here.

You have good taste when it comes to cars.

The top car is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. It was made only one year, and it was made for NASCAR. It dominated NASCAR so completely that NASCAR outlawed it the next year. A Superbird with a Hemi engine is probably the most- or second-most expensive muscle car you can find.

The blue car is a 1970 Dodge Coronet convertible. It was freaking AWESOME. In my opinion, it was much better-looking than the GTO convertible. Mine was the same color blue, with a white top and stripe on the trunk, but mine had a black interior. Mine had a 383 big block, and a power bulge hood. Of all the cars, it's the one I wish I still owned.

The 'Vette was a car my brother and I bought for my dad when he was dying of cancer. After he passed, I decided to keep it. I had never been a 'Vette fan - until I drove that car. Man, there is NOTHING I've driven that's like a 'Vette. I'm going to buy a 1968-72 convertible one of these days.

The final car is a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix. Not a car most would associate with muscle cars, but; (1) it's what I drove all through high school and college; (2) I think it's the best-looking 2-door sedan ever built in America; and (3) the one I bought a few years ago had an engine rebuilt by a cop, and it was SO FREAKING FAST.

BTW - total expenditure for all four of those cars? $66,000. Might be about twice that today, but that would still be less than a BMW 7-series tricked out.

My vote is for Lexus. I bought a used 1999 Lexus GS300 from a dusty used car lot last year and it drives like a brand new car. Super smooth and quiet on the highway. It is just a well put together car and I am continuously impressed by it. Not sure about the stereotype of old people driving a Lexus. I see young guys with this particular model a lot. I am pretty good at finding used cars but this time I truly found a GEM.

Yknow, I'm pretty sure old has more to do with "established" ie. have the money for the vehicle. Younger people like Lexuses (Lexi? Lexera?).

I want one of these:

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will spare no expense keeping themselves and their two-month-old daughter North safe. The rapper and the reality star have commissioned two bullet and bomb-proof vehicles, costing over a million dollars, to get them around Los Angeles and protect them from the prying eyes of paparazzi, as well as the reach of demented fans and, if need be, psychopaths.

For family drives, the vehicle of choice will be a $400,000 Chevrolet Kodiak based on President Obama's Cadillac One, a car that boast such features as Kevlar reinforcement, night-vision cameras, and steel rims you can drive on if the tires are blown off.

Besides the armoured cars--bought on the advice of Jay Z--Kanye is also insisting both he and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star always have at least two bodyguards. If there have been any kidnapping threats against their daughter, Kanye isn't saying. But the fear is clearly on his mind.

I associate BMWs with asshats, drug dealers, spoiled kids and other less-desireables (no offense to anyone here that owns a BMW, unless you fit in those categories, LOL).

I've tried to buy a BMW twice. Here is what happened:

1. The first time, I wanted a 530i. The dealer had one. It had been in a slight accident during a previous test drive, and the front bumper had to be repaired and repainted. I still wanted it, so I said, "How much will you take off the sticker?" The dealer said, "Nothing". I said, "Good luck with your future endeavors".

2. I was test-driving cars at a Jaguar-BMW dealership, and the salesman was a complete ass. He wouldn't let me drive the cars in sport mode, and basically spent my test drives telling me how wonderful he was. I had already decided I wasn't buying a car from this probable cocaine addict when, as we were pulling into the lot, he said, "Look - there's my best customer!" Without my asking, he went on to say, "He owns several of the largest strip clubs in town!" That did it for me.

You broke it all the way down...LOL....I'm 6'2 and I'm more comfortable driving an SUV and that's what I love. How do you feel about SUV's?

This truck is being offered for free, along with a designer vibrator from the Viktor Poontoos collection, for anyone buying a bottle of RussoBaltique vodka.

This particular bottle of Vodka comes in a 20 pound case made of solid gold and lists for around $740,000.

Except the Giulietta is a whole class above it in size, has two more doors, a bigger engine, is not made out of cheap plastic, has aerodynamic design lines, a bigger, meaner looking grill, bigger wheels and crome features all around.

I'm an Audi/Porsche/VW guy, however I do dig the Alfa Romeo's. I'm just underwhelmed by all popular car manufacturers, nothing new. They all produce products that are pretty much interchangable. Most of thier parts come from the same manufacturer. Soon it will be zip cars for everyone.

Apart from the engine and the plastic the interior is made of (although if you look inside you will also see the difference), those aren't specs, but design features that make a car look distinctive or not! And those two cars aren't remotely the same on those levels!
