Well, if this blurry, out-of-focus, silly "news" piece isn't evidence that aliens walk among us, I don't know what is! What will it take to convince the sheeple? An in-focus photo? A real news report?

Anyway, this is old news and long ago put to rest.

http://www.slate.com/blog...sects.html

While I watched this segment, one word rang through my head, echoing as it bounced around repeatedly: “Seriously?” Just: “Seriously?”

Generating a Buzz

Because if those are UFOs I’ll fight a xenomorph bare-handed. Those aren’t UFOs. Those are bugs. Insects. Insects flying around in front of the camera. Insects that can hover, change direction, zip away. Insects that look like blobs because they’re close to the camera, which was set to focus on infinity. Insects which were lit by the Sun so they flash a bit when they change direction.

And yes, I know: UFO means Unidentified Flying Object, and since no one could identify them, these are by definition UFOs. Except they aren’t. They’re insects.

I’ll note that perhaps not every object in that video is entomological. Some may be birds, and others small remote controlled planes (one in particular appears to move up, stall, then dive just like the RC planes I used to fly when I was in high school), but the one thing they aren’t is a mystery.

On air, Heidi Hemmat, the reporter, talked to someone identified as “a former commercial pilot, instructor, and FAA accident prevention counselor” who was able to say those objects aren’t planes or helicopters … but he also says they’re not insects. I take exception to that. It sounds like he’s assuming they’re far away and therefore big, but we don’t know that. They could be close and small. In which case they’re entirely consistent with being insects.

Look, sometimes things are hard to figure out. Sometimes the evidence is ambiguous. But also sometimes the evidence is absolutely ridiculously overwhelmingly forehead-slappingly oh-my-God-this-is-so-obviously obvious. I’ll note the Rocky Mountain Parano...ety agrees, too, and they do skeptical investigations like this all the time.

Who said it was proof?

With air traffic control knowing every flight in the air, and satellite viewing, there is NOTHING that is unidentified and also flying.

1. What makes u think UFO's would show up on radar?

2. If they showed up on radar.......what makes u think u would get the truth?

What was this? Someone's imagination?

Battle Of LA UFO: Stunning
New Photo Enhancements

Story and picture enhancements
by Steven Lacey
8-31-5
An alien craft flew over Los Angeles County in 1942, and the picture below proves it. Something very odd happened in the early mourning hours of February 25, 1942. An aircraft flew over LA County that sparked an air raid alert. Searchlights and Guns were locked onto the aircraft for about a an hour. That alert was unlike any other. We,ve all seen the images of the military action in Iraq. Pictures of batteries of antiaircraft guns firing in what look like random patterns are familiar to most of us. The picture below appeared in the LA Times in a story about the Battle of LA It clearly shows a night time defensive response to an air raid, but the situation is very different than that in Iraq. The men firing the guns weren't desperately searching the sky trying to find a target. They clearly had a focus for their efforts. This picture is the most convincing piece of evidence I,ve seen of an alien craft.
With a little effort using Adobe Photoshop I was able to clear up the image into something that clearly shows a classic saucer shaped craft right in the center of where all those searchlights are aimed. I enlarged the picture and I adjusted the brightness & contrast using the levels tool.
Check out the photo's below.
The picture clearly shows a saucer shaped craft in the area I've highlighted. The area outside of my highlight appears to be clouds of smoke from several large explosions that is being illuminated by the lights.
Look closely at the explosions. They don't look like they are actually coming in contact with the craft. Witnesses told LA Times reporters that the bombs exploded in rings around the craft. Could it be that the craft had SHIELDS that are very similar to the shields used by the imaginary craft of Star Trek? I added the red highlight to clarify what I was looking at. Coincidentally, it seems to mark the place where those shields seem to be having an effect.

1. If eyes and cameras can see it..

2. If they were trying to cover up the truth, I don't think putting a UFO on CNN is a brilliant idea.

I think it's nothing, which is more likely a distraction to fill up air time that could have been given to a REAL story.

But...you mean you weren't sold when the anonymous guy that first filmed this said he traced the landing pattern and says the UFOs are launching from 56th and Clay Street? Even though Google Maps shows there are no UFO airports at 56th and Clay? Even though 56th and Clay is a residential neighborhood, you don't think UFOs could take off from and land there at the same time, almost every day? Without anyone ever seeing them? None of that convinced you of the veracity of this video?!?

(Edited to remove erroneous clip reference)
