Here in the Dirty South we dont call them "Foot Flops" we call them "Flip Flops"...I havent worn a traditional pair of Flops since the 80's. I wear the standard Men's Slip on sandals & Dress shoes. You can find some SHARP ass slip-on shoes..I MIGHT even go ALL slip-ons and do away with shoe-strings. I take care of my shoes so that aint likely to happen... |

In German they are called flip flops as well . In Trinidad/Tobago they call them slippers which didn't make any sense to me . Actually...I am like that as well. ALWAYS wearing something on my feet, even on a hot summer day.
The ex got me into walking around barefoot indoors, so now I'm comfortable with it, but I much rather have something on my feet at all times.
