GoT Season 3 ep 7 "The Bear and the Maiden Fair"

Sorry, due to a lovely Mother's Day, I don't have any info about the show and I haven't had a chance to watch the episode.

Back later after I've watched it!

While I enjoy this show, Im so glad that I havent bothered with the books cause it just seems most of the time people just move around from chess square to square. This season thus far as been full of doing really nothing more than just moving characters around with no real pay off except for dragons destroying a city. Kalshei is the only one that is moving this season.

N tell us WTF is going on with Theon.

I think Hodor best described this episode in a nutshell when he said
"Hodor."

Hands down, the best scene was Tywin "schooling" that brat king Joffrey. Now what Tywin did in that scene is a classic case of giving someone a bitch slap without even touching them. worship God I love Charles Dance, he plays Tywin Lannister with such brillance.

Poor poor Theon. Lawd have mercy. I scream out MERCY for him myself. I don't think I can take anymore of his torturing for no reason.

Dany rocked it last night. "My gift to you is your life". Girl you better do it!!! clapping

The whole Jon & Ygritte situation is starting to irritate me, or maybe it's just Ygritte that's irritating me. I just don't trust her and hate that Jon has put a lot of trust in her.

Congrats to Robb Stark on being a daddy. party

It's so odd, I use to really despise Jamie Lannister and now I really love Jamie Lannister.

That Gentry is a fine looking fellow.

So is the Hound going to good by Arya or hold her captive too?

Looks like next week's episode is going to be popcorn

[spacing edit, when are the admins going to fix this issue?!? URGH]

Last night's episode was really good.

Ygritte is crazy if she think Jon Snow is gonna have her back when they get to Castle Black. She knows nothing if you ask me.

Daenerys scene was almost too awesome. I know she feels like she has to be the good Queen and free slaves, but I think I would have taken the gold and been out! But she does everything for a reason, so I guess I'll be patient.

Poor Theon..what else can you say, that was fuuuccckkkkkeeeeddddd up!! Did they really take his man bits?? sad

I'm sorry but I was ready to hurl when they show Jaime's stub ill boxed I loved the "sorry about the Sapphires" line..that was bad!

I'm missing a lot, but I didn't get to watch it 2x like I normally do.. def going watch again tonight biggrin

Yeah, I need to watch it again to. I loved everything mentioned, but eventhough the episode was great, it seemed like another builder.

I went on the GoT facebook page and it seems a lot of fans thought this episode was boring. I thought it was fantastic, but I also was under the influence.. lol I'm re-watching tonight with a clear head wink

It was ok.
.
I think Margery is being a good friend to Sansa, but I'm skeptical. And I guess she's not a virgin, hmm.
.
I want to believe it's true love between Jon & Ygritte and they'll work it out, he'll win her over, I honestly don't know.
.
Jaime definitely does have some wonderful qualities, he's complex.

.
That Bolton/Snow guy is one sick sadistic.

I like Margery but she's a master manipulator. In anything she says or does, there's a motive behind it. I don't think she's being a friend to Sansa at all.

Jon & Ygritte aren't going to last. I think that's a given. The thing that will actually break them up in the end is the real question.

Preach. Jaime is one of those characters you think you have figured out but he turns around and surprises you. I have to say that I've grown to enjoy his character.

Re-watched it and I still thought it was a really good episode.

I skipped right past Theon's scene, that's just too much. sad

I'm feeling bad for Gendry, just found out he's a King's bastard and now he's stuck with that red bitch..who knows what she's goona do with him. I hope that's not going to be the last we see of his character.

Arya is with the Hound.. oh shucks now. Is she gonna kill him?? eek I certainly hope not! I love him lol

Is it wrong I want Ygritte to die already?? razz Jon Snow is too fine for her!

As always I cannot wait until next week.. dancing jig

No, because I wouldn't mind if she were to disappear either. She's annoying. I agree, not only is Jon way too fione, but I believe he's way too smart for her too. Ygritte is tough, yes, but she's very bull headed.

it was a good episode. i understand how some people will think this season a bit boring

but the books and to a large extent the series too is not only about big fighting scenes,

it is mostly about plotting, scheming and politics.

i have to admit that at the start of this season i grew a bit tired with the show since i'd

just finished all the books. somehow the show had less appeal to me after the books.

but now they seem to be straying away from the books on several story lines and that

makes it interesting enough to keep watching again.

and it's still nice to see some of the key scenes from the books on the screen. the pit

with brienne and jamie, that was a good one.

somehow they do manage to recreate the books surprisingly well. there are a lot of

scenes that you watch and think "it's amazing how they filmed this, it is exactly like

i saw it in my mind when reading the books, down to the last little detail".

THIS.. I don't understand why anyone would want to watch the EXACT same thing they just read! If there are no twists, no surprises.. what is the point?

I guess I'm full of wishful thinking, Sansa finds a friend, Jon & Ygritte bring about a new change between the north & south. I think I forgot what I'm watching, nothing plays out like that, it hasn't so far.

If Game Of Thrones took place entirely on Facebook: Season 3, Episode 7.

Actually, this season has spent so much time in "windup" mode it's disappointing. After all of the promises of an "action-packed" season, this last 3-ep stretch has been disappointing.

Nothing really happened in this episode. The much-ballyhooed bear sequence was a letdown.

The scene with Joffrey and Tywin was probably my favorite, and surprisingly, Joffrey scored some points.

Margaery doesn't understand what she's getting into . . . but I'm betting she will be in for a rude awakening.

Is it just me, or is Jeyne a bit untrustworthy? Then again, Robb . . . I understand, son.

Blackfish, Priest, Grey Worm . . . I hope I get to see them do a little more!

I can take slow and ponderous . . . hell, I liked John from Cincinnati . . . but GOT is close to getting too cute for its own good. I have faith it will close strong.
