I could care less about OJ but let's not forget this happened 3 years after

the 4 officers that beat the shit out of Rodney King were acquitted and most

of those people that cried foul in the OJ case sure as hell didn't cry foul when

those officers were aquitted.

I wonder why?

hmmm

Yep, so much hypocrisy surrounding this case - the OJ jurors being referred to as dumb, conservative loudmouths calling for professional juries, folks actually crying. It would be nice to see this same reaction when people of color get fucked over by the system.

I used to think he wasn't too hard to look at, too. However, I was thorugh with him when I read an interview he did with a reporter from Ebony Magazine. I believe it was either the late 70's or early 80's. The reporter asked him if he was going to send his children to a historically black college, and his reply shocked and insulted me. He said, and I quote verbatim, "I didn't go to no nigger college and I'n not sending my kids to one either." Negro, please! Where did your oldest daughter go to school? Tom ass muhfuggah.

I remember that.

The only admiration I ever had for him was on the football field. OJ simpleton tore his ass with me when he left Marguerite. hmph!

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

OJ Simpson lawyers say he is closer to freedom

By LINDA DEUTSCH | Associated Press –posted 18 May 2013 - 1607hrs

Former O.J. Simpson defense attorney Yale Galanter testifies during an evidentiary hearing for Simpson in Clark County District Court on May 17, 2013 in Las Vegas. Simpson, who is currently serving a nine-to-33-year sentence in state prison as a result of his October 2008 conviction for armed robbery and kidnapping charges, is using a writ of habeas corpus to seek a new trial, claiming he had such bad representation that his conviction should be reversed.

link note: the entire article is an interesting read imo. just goes to show you sometimes life imitates art. i mean i'm just saying stuff like this only happens in the movies at best.

an alleged crooked attorney is (possibly) caught and is now pleading his case, and is about to pay some dues - due to his questionable attorney stupid trial/hearing goofs. if galanter felt from the start that oj carried "too much baggage," he should have empowered hisself to just walk away.

now: inquiring minds want to know - how much money did Yale Galanter get paid to defend oj simpson?

O.J.'s self-racism is a well known fact. Hated his own kind but when he got in the trouble he got in, look who he looked to for support: OUR BLACK ASSES! Fuck him. Hope he rots in jail.

I understand the underlying anger in your message. I mean, as a child who grew up in the 60’s / James Brown era, I’ll say it out loud any day of the week, and to anyone who would listen… I’M BLACK & I’M PROUD, I get it… OJ-BAD.

But to play the Devil’s advocate, aside from looking to his attorney’s for legal assistance; Johnnie Cochran in chief, among an ethnically diverse team of lawyers, can it really be said that O.J. looked to Black people for support? Or was it that Black people (in a broadly general sense) offered it to him?
