’24′ Eyes Return As Limited Series On Fox, Howard Gordon To EP, Kiefer Sutherland In Talks To Star

The clock may start ticking again on Fox. I’ve learned that the network is looking to bring back its signature real-time drama 24 as a limited series. Kiefer Sutherland is in talks to reprise his Emmy-winning role as Agent Jack Bauer. No deals are in place, but Fox is eying 24 as part of its recent push in limited event series. Since 24 ended its eight-season run on Fox in 2010, there have been efforts to continue the story as a feature, which ultimately didn’t take off. I hear the idea to do another 24 chapter on TV came from longtime 24 showrunner Howard Gordon, now executive producer on Showtime’s Homeland.

I don't watch a lot of TV but I'd LOVE 2 see this show return.

I recently watched season 1 and 2 again.. I used to looove this show.. My brother had to be to work at 9 pm, he would be late every monday watching 24 with me

I have all 8 seasons on DVD. My fav show of all time.

i know exactly what is going to happen through the whole series

1) POTUS gets killed

2) terrorists are involved

3) CTU is infultrated by the bad guys

4) someone who died in a previous season is found to be still alive

5) jack baur dies

6) jack baur comes back to life

7) jack baur died again

8) no he doesn't

9) the new POTUS is a bad guy and gets replaced by another POTUS

10) a nuclear bomb on a plane heads towards the whitehouse

11) jack saves the world

12) jacks wife/girlfriend/daughter gets kidnapped

13) the movie taken is basically recreated over the last 2 episodes

14) jack gets them back and kills the kidnappers

15) the end - without jack going for a piss

they confirmed it was cancelled. so instead of shouting "jake, jake" 72 times per episode, he'll be shouting "where's the bomb, tell me where the bomb is" 72 times per episode
