I hate to admit it but that's what I see when I go to Lowes and Mernards. Sometimes you do see some hot men wearing their carpenter jeans hitting all the right places. biggrin

O yes!

My drill is an old one, though.

In dire need of replacement.

I also adore my electric saw.

And I do run in to cuteness at the DIY store, now and then.

A nice extra when I need to get something.

I don't know about DIY stores outside Amsterdam.

Might run in to moustaches and beerbelly too often.

My boss asked to borrow my drill yesterday. She was putting together a chair that had hex bolts. She proceeded to use my Phillips head bit on it. The armrest was facing the wrong direction and my bit was spinning in the hole doing nothing but becoming damaged. And she was so fucking proud of herself

Nope, I have been to Ikea like 4 times in my life.

Here in the USA, there have been other stores that compete with Ikea that I shopped at prior to getting an Ikea here.

Nothing wrong with Ikea knick-knacks, but I wouldn't feel comfortable buying their furniture. It's a quality issue not a cosmetic one. Although, I'm sure some of the furniture is ok.
